Terms and Conditions

1. I, hereby agree that any information provided by me to SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES may be forwarded or communicated by them to any government body or any official thereof, if required, as part of or in any related to my application for temporary / permanent residence in South Africa, and I hereby give my full and irrevocable consent and authority for the disclosure of such information.
   
2. I hereby agree and understand that no documentation / checklists will be provided to me until I have paid the necessary fees mentioned above and as set out in Annexure "A".
   
3. I agree to pay the necessary fees mentioned in Annexure "A" within 30 calendar days of having received an invoice from SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES. I understand that if I do not make such payment within the 30 calendar day period, that this quotation shall no longer be valid and a fresh quotation will have to be obtained.
   
4. I hereby agree that I shall proceed with the application to its final determination and shall comply with due diligence with any requirement of the Department of Home Affairs.
   
5. I hereby acknowledge that information which I may provide to SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES is truthful, accurate and that any inaccuracies with respect to same may seriously affect the approval of my application for temporary / permanent residence / Citizenship or the retention of any status I may acquire, after I and / or any member of my family, have landed in South Africa.
   
6. I acknowledge that I will be handing over my passport/s in to the care of SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES and / or one of its employees for the purpose of lodgment of the application/s on my behalf with the Department of Home Affairs as well as the endorsement thereof once my permit has been approved. I hereby indemnify SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES and / or any and all of its employees from any form of claim or damages suffered as a result of the loss, theft or similar action beyond the control of the aforementioned persons, resulting whilst my passport/s is/are in their care.
   
7. I acknowledge that SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES reserve the right to revoke this retainer at any time if the information given to either SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES or the Department of Home Affairs is found to be untruthful, misleading or false or if any account rendered by SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES remains unpaid. It is also understood that should any of the information that I have provided to SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES prove to be inaccurate, incorrect or incomplete, this could seriously and adversely affect the approval of my application or the retention of any residence status subsequent to my entry into South Africa.
   
8. I acknowledge and agree that in the event that my application is filed at a South African Embassy, High Commission or Consular Mission other than in my place of residence, I may be required to attend at an interview, if granted, at that location.
   
9. I agree to inform SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES of all communication received from the Department of Home Affairs and to provide with any changes to SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES of any iformation relating to my address, employment, marital status or any other information or circumstances bearing on my case and that I will execute forms as required and obtain all documents and information that may be necessary to the processing of my application.
   
10. I understand that the Department of Home Affairs reserves the right on certain categories or permits to request that applicant provides proof of a return airline ticket or security deposit. I undertake to provide either of the above, if and when requested.
    
11. SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION SERVICES authority to act on my behalf shall include any of family members included in my application for temporary / permanent residence and the provision of this retainer shall be applicable to my family members.
    
12. I agree to pay all outstanding fees and disbursements incurred on my file if this agreement is terminated.
    
13. I fully understand that from time to time the Department of Home Affairs of the South African Government may change Immigration Policy, Legislation and Regulation and that all advice given to me is therefore based upon prevailing Immigration Policy, Legislation and Regulation as is valid at the date of signature of this agreement. Accordingly SAMPI & LIU IMMIGRATION Attorneys, or its consultants or agents, cannot be held responsible for any consequences which may arise from such changes.
    
14. This Agreement shall be interpreted, construed and governed by Laws of the Republic of South Africa.
15. No amendment, variation, addition to, deletion of, waiver, suspension or consensual cancellation of the whole of this Agreement or any provision hereof ( including this clause ), shall be of any force or effect, unless reduced to writing and signed by or on behalf of the Parties.
16. I fully understand and accept the terms and conditions of this agreement.
